Associate Veterinarian Wanted. We are seeking a primarily small animal, full-time associate veterinarian (although mixed animal experience is desired). We practice state-of-the-art medicine and surgery. We have the latest digital radiography, ultra-sound, endoscopy, comprehensive laboratory and more. Our Care and Services We offer a full spectrum of medical and surgical services and utilize a wide range of in-house advanced diagnostics. From digital x-ray and ultra-sound technologies, an in-house hematology and biochemistry lab, and cutting edge regenerative medicine capabilities, we strive to deliver top-notch care to our patients. Whether it be routine preventative care for our trusty canine and feline patients or advanced therapies required to keep our equine athletes performing at their highest level, we are ready to serve all of our client/patients needs. In addition to full service veterinary care, we also offer day and overnight boarding for a variety of animals.

In an Emergency For the convenience of our clients we are a 24 hour Emergency Veterinary Hospital with an on-call doctor on duty Sundays, nights, and even Holidays. If you have an emergency during non-business hours please call (760) 873-5801.

    My personal interests include any and all outdoor activities including fishing, hiking and skiing. I enjoy coaching my daughter’s sports teams, camping and going to the coast with my wife, 3 daughters and son, and 2 black labs.

    I enjoy spending time with my family, Husband Gary, and baby girls Lyndy and Jacey. I also enjoy riding my horse Gunner and any outdoor activities with my family and 2 dogs Elko and Izzy. I was born and raised in Bishop and have worked at the Bishop Veterinary Hospital since I was 12 years old! I attended UC Davis receiving a BS in Animal Science and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. I spent my first year of veterinary medicine working at Great Basin Equine, an equine specialty hospital located in Gardnerville, NV.

    I am a lifelong resident of the Owens Valley. My Great Grandfather homesteaded here in the 1860’s. It is an honor to have raised my family here and to provide veterinary services to the people of the Owens Valley and the surrounding areas for the past 37 years.

    I am a native resident to Bishop, Ca. I continue to manage my family’s business at Rock Creek Pack Station. Carmen my wife teaches fifth grade at Bishop Elementary. Our lives revolve around our Great Dane “Sam”, our Bull Dog “Taffy”, and our Lab “Sutter”. We also enjoy our 3 new kittens “Noah”, “Tiger”, and “Sydney who were orphans from Lone Pine, and bottle fed by my Step Mother Aleta.

    I have been married for the past 33 years, and lived in Bishop for the past 29 years. I have 2 dogs, 3 snakes and a Mojave Desert tortoise. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, motor cycle riding, snorkeling, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with my family.

    I was born and raised in Bishop Ca. I have always loved the area and spent much of my free time outside. Growing up I was involved in 4-H, FFA and Trail riding on horses. My husband and I, along with our 2 children enjoy off road activities, snowmobiling, fishing, hiking and many other activities the Sierra’s have to offer. We also have a 2 year old Labrador Retriever named “An Dog” who also loves going with the family on all of our adventures.

    I grew up in Bishop, Ca. I attended Bishop Union high School and then graduated from High Desert Academy in 2010. Growing up I was involved in 4-H and FFA raising market swine and dairy goats. I also participated in California High School Rodeo competing at state levels and semi-national. I have a Queensland mix named “Coon”, and I also have two Quarter horses, “Snicky” and “Salsa”.

    I was born and raised in Mammoth Lakes, CA before moving to Colorado for college. After working at several veterinary clinics in Denver, CO, my husband and I decided to move back to Mammoth to enjoy the mountains and be close to family. We are both avid German Shorthaired Pointer lovers! We have two of our own, Macy and Lady, and work with several rescues throughout California to help foster and care for other GSPs. We also have Tucker (pictured) a Big Pine Shelter alum, who we love dearly and can do no wrong! And a recent addition of two cats, Mittens and Marbles.
